The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is a London borough to the east of the City of London and north of the River Thames. It is in the eastern part of London and covers much of the traditional East End. It also includes much of the redeveloped Docklands region of London, including West India Docks and Canary Wharf.
Notable buildings and landmarks include Brick Lane, Cable Street - site of the Battle of Cable Street, Hawksmoor's Christ Church, Spitalfields, the site of two historic Royal Mints, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge (pictured above) and Victoria Park.
It has a reputation of being one of the most haunted locations in England.
Phantoms include Henry VI in the Wakefield Tower; a White Lady in the White Tower; the lost "Princes in the Tower"; Anne Boleyn; Lady Jane Grey; and Margaret Pole.
